I stopped drinking when I was 20 to "set an example" for my boyfriend who I suspected was an alcoholic. I didn't think I had an alcohol problem so when I turned into a straight A student overnight I had to wonder. It's hard to see how much it impacts your life until you quit.

I quit smoking weed after smoking every day since I was 17. 31 days later and I’m dreaming, sleeping better, and saving money. Never thought I could do it. Alcohol is the next step

Can’t find the article at the moment but there was a recent study that indicated driving stoned was actually more debilitating and dangerous than driving drunk. Both are stupid obviously but there is a myth that weed is perfectly safe.

I just passed 22 months sober. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I would love to hear how everyone who did it is feeling now compared to drinking. Stories could inspire others. I am a non drinker but really proud of those who went dry.

Feeling so much better. I never realized just how much energy I was putting toward drinking. And once you stop that energy doesnt go away. The key is directing it toward positive, healthier habits. If you can successfully do that there’s really no limit to what you can accomplish
