Yes discussing something is different from actually doing it. That’s why there is executive privilege so the president can explore ideas with advisors and whether it’s legal or not. That’s why they have lawyers approve drone strikes

Oh but next they will accuse POTUS of a hate crime against Ukraine for just delaying the aid without cause! 🤦🏼‍♀️

Bolton wouldn't be the bombshell the House Dems are hoping for. It would be a rinse and repeat of The House Dems other witnesses. Much like Amb. Sondland, Bolton could only say how he "presumed" thing to be and/or disagreeing with Trump. Not advancing the Dems one bit

Not so. Apparently John Bolton alleges that he was explicitly told to hold the aid until they agree to investigate the Democrats and the Biden's. I think that the Democrats have timed all of this for sure. Instead of hearsay or assumption, he is saying he was told this by @POTUS

They also made the mistake of dropping this when the President’s defense team has 20 hours to destroy it. Should’ve waited until Wednesday.

For those asking why, an excerpt from Boton's book has been released which tells his side of the story regarding aid to the Ukranian.

The purpose of inflating Bolton's "testimony" is the same as ever: to orchestrate a perjury trap. Bolton says @POTUS said X, @POTUS said he said Y, one of them must go to prison. This is why allowing any witnesses at this point is idiotic. On the merits the case is nonsense.
