We could play outside until dark. People were kinder... we had Atari, no social media, people were actually social, education was outstanding. As an immigrant when I was young I never did, not never have taken anything for granted. The 70’s rocked

Biking downhill with no hands, no feet, no helmet - what a thrill! Took some practice but what else was there to do?

That's when I grew up, 60s-70s. Amazing I'm still alive, and without a bike helmet.

We use to play bike tag around the neighborhood. Whoever was “it” carried a rag with knots in it. To get someone, you had to through the rag and hit the person or bike to make them “it”. A few of us would aim for the spokes.

Rode bikes everywhere, made secret forts in empty fields In the summer we played outside way past the streetlights came on. Over the line and Ghost in the Graveyard Collected glass bottles to return for change to buy candy at the liquor store Being inside was a punishment
