1985 is the great divide. If you played tecmo super bowl as a kid, you’re not a millennial. Fact.

If you ever have a ”Summer of 98” CD you are a Centennial.

By 1999, thanks to CD-Rs and p2p file-sharing networks, I had mastered the art of the musically disorienting mix cd. Track 1: NWA. Track 2: Cannibal Corpse. Track 3: ABBA. Track 4: Lagwagon. And so on. This continued until I got an ipod in 2005, but I kept all the CD-Rs anyway.

Basically the older millennials want an out...as a Gen Xer...yep no you don’t get one. Ther is no subset generation.

I was 83 and I personally don’t care either way. It is just another way to label me for something out of my control.

anyone born between 81-98 is a Millennial.

So what are we that were born exactly in 1980? I thought we were Gen X or something, but then I hear we're boomers. I feel too young to be a boomer but too old to be a millennial.
