Doubt it. Everything I hear makes it sound like the show writers thought they were better than George. They probably went way off-base with the ending. George's ending is probably perfectly safe.

Jon killing Dany is definitely a GRRM move

The show left off a lot of characters that are somewhat important in the books. Most of those characters can and most likely will completely change the direction and ending. I doubt he told them how to get to the end just what the end goal was.

He may keep the main ending points but he will make sure to prop those endings up with a much better, more fleshed out lead up to those endings. HBO and the show runners made a huge mistake rushing to that final ending. The show runners were already planning their Star Wars exit.

Yes, exactly why back to the future was so great when they had the opportunity to reshoot/twerked all the scenes for the better and tighten up the whole story when replacing stoltz with fox

Not likely. He prob told B&B who ends up on the throne, but they messed up or underdeveloped how it happens. Bran isn’t supposed to be the compromise choice. He’s the Bloodraven heir using powers to control and guide all. Bonus when he merges w/Winterfell weirwood to live longer.

My theory is that GRRM takes the story way beyond the last TV episode. Remember...this is a world where people regularly get brought back to life...
