The house to our right was always having a new tenant. The one to our left was an elderly couple, and the one across the street was always calling the cops of me and my friends for playing in the streets.https://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1213613180834000897 …

Yes. We also played games outside at night like Ghosts in the Graveyard & Kick the Can and made jumps for our bikes and forts in the backyard. In the summer after lunch you had to choose between inside & out and not waste the AC and once you chose no going back till dinner.

We also made May Day baskets out of woven construction paper & loaded them with flowers from our garden and left them with our favorite neighbors. Came home to a fully dressed horse on our front lawn w no rider & kept the litters of kittens which got dumped.

I feel for you guys though, not having that one person that sold Kool-Aid pops out their house for 50 cents each in the summer. That made all the trouble worth it.

My friends and I used to hop the neighbor's fence all the time to get to the ball field. I'll never forget when he put grease on it so we wouldn't jump, but of course, we still did..lol. Good times.

We had an old couple as neighbors for years. When they moved they returned a box of all the balls, toys, etc. that had ended up in their yard over the years.
