C'mon. This is like blaming him for 9/11, an attack that was financed and carried out by Saudishttps://twitter.com/JackPosobiec/status/1213107445842825216 …

False analogy. Quds Force wanted to stop the CIA-backed weapons flow to Syria that ended up in the hands of Al Qaeda and eventually ISIS in America's dumb regime change scheme there.

Is there any other source for this besides this author? The dude's basis is unnamed intelligence sources

Posted a few in the thread from open source reporting. Iran even publicly talked about arming Libyan rebelshttps://www.reuters.com/article/us-iran-khamenei/dont-bomb-libya-arm-rebels-says-irans-khamenei-idUSTRE72K50L20110321 …

Everybody was arming rebels. That doesn’t mean they directed the attack. Weren’t the attackers Sunni extremists?

For sure, and that's all in the reports. I'm just adding it point out that even publicly Iran was talking about working with Sunni extremists - they aren't opposed to it when it suits their interests on the ground.

I'm skeptical of this claim because most of the people--not you--who share it also claim Iran did 9/11 and organized al-Qaeda. A lot of people wanted us to stop running guns in the Mideast. I need more proof than one author's claims due to the dubious nature of other claims

Absolutely. @GenFlynn is also on the record in there. We always need a lot of skepticism, especially when with people pushing for war/regime change (I'm not)
