I’m glad it happened. It showed the Pope’s true character. Pope John Paul II would have grabbed the woman’s hand and kissed it.

Agreed -it was a lame response. A more polished public person would have turned back, smiled, and shook her hand.

It looked a lot like contempt on the Pope's face.

He is old and she was probably hurting him. His reaction was totally justified. I am more concerned with his involvement in global communism and the institutionalized rape of little boys that he upholds and probably participates in.

He actually ended the secrecy rule on child sexual abuse in the Catholic church. not enough? I know, i know, but it's something that other popes did not do.https://www.theguardian.com/world/2019/dec/17/pope-francis-ends-pontifical-secrecy-rule-child-sexual-abuse-catholic-church …

Now imagine if a man grabbed and yanked an elderly woman .... for example the queen. We would not tolerate that. He is an elderly man and she yanked him quite hard causing him to stumble. U could see the look of pain on his face before he even turned to the woman

Arm yank + old age + arthritis = lots of pain. What was she thinking.
