I have an idea - let's create massive amounts of 'creative destruction' in the labor market such that workers have no visibility about their future and a lot of volatility in their present. Profit!!! Small downside that they will be too anxious to breed, but we can import more.

Which is why I have told several parents as well as youth to pick a career that can’t be offshored, replaced by a robot, or replaced by a computer running AI. Really, it’s ok to be a plumber, an electriction, an HVAC tech. And it pays well with no debt as an apprentice.

That’s BS. My team built a high tech startup, got bought by a big company for our innovation, then after a couple of years trained our replacements and were laid off. This happened to me two startups in a row.
