Our climate simulation models are not accurate enough to have predictive value. It would be better for everyone if the government stopped treating it that way.

This is 100% right. No model is ever accurate, ever. They are only simple tools to guide. Should we be better conservationist stewards of the planet? Yes. Should we throw all levers of free will into the hands of a world bureaucracy? Hell no. Lets do the lowing hanging fruit.
