Counselors sold cheap government debt to students with no critical thinking skills, as universities raised costs for useless degrees, therefore enriching themselves, and then proceeded to push leftist progressive ideologies rather than classic instruction.

My niece gave up on her math degree to take on a "women's studies" degree. I asked her what kind of job she can get with that. She shrugged her shoulders. The purpose of college is to get critical thinking skills. Looks like her college has failed her already.

college for all is no different than homes for all and healthcare for all. its a socialist dream with large debt bubbles following behind.

We have Obama & the Democrats to thank for taking school loans out of banks and making them all government school loans. I’m sure Barry had a plan for all those students suffering under the burden of a government school loan.

Had a friend getting a bachelors in psychology, and was struggling with some weedout courses. She claimed the academic advisor encouraged her to change to an art degree (a degree program guaranteed to be fucking useless and had low graduation rates) to pursue ‘art therapy’...
-
...I didn’t believe her, it sounded ridiculous that an advisor would make that suggestion. Until, a week later, I’n sitting outside the academic advisors offices, and I hear an academic advisor encouraging a struggling psych student to change to art therapy.
