Why did moms who raise their kids full-time get a label in the first place?https://twitter.com/realTanyaTay/status/1202081567205707777 …

It's becoming a status symbol again to be able to afford to have the "mom stay home." It requires the spouse to be self-aware and strong enough to back THEIR decision. Every. Single. Time. Choose wisely. P.S. I did. Looks like @realTanyaTay did as well.

The term "stay at home mom" should be respected as one of the most important jobs a female could ever have.

Because some working moms felt guilty and needed to project it onto other moms.

we got those labels because the college-educated feminazis wanted to be able to call us something because they downplayed our role as important and therefore they had to call us names. But our children became successful

Nothing wrong with being a stay at home mom. It’s not a sexist term. Everyone knows it’s a hard job. I’m not going PC when I use the term.

Probably because of the women that NEVER work a job even after the kids are into their teens

It strikes me as a somewhat demeaning jab at women who choose not to pursue a professional career in the corporate world. It’s often used like so: “... she’s (or I’m) JUST a stay-home mom” as if it were something unworthy or menial in importance.
