If you’re staying at a resort, yes, as the cartels own the majority of them. Less tourists at resorts = less money so they tend to keep violence away from them. There’s been a uptick in kidnapping that’s been kept quite to not hurt tourism...

I'd just as soon Trump doesn't start a "cartel war" seeing as how it's mostly going to be for show and votes, will be half-assed, and will result in tens of thousands of innocent women and children being slaughtered in the US for retaliation will we make minimal gains.
