Well yeah, I mean not only is DNA a significant issue, but people are significantly more aware of it and its uses, and have an almost blind trust in CSI's and their abilities.

From my experience, the CSI Effect only comes into play with jurors when they don't see evidence gathered that they expect from their CSI conditioning. When you do have it, they are capable of ignoring it for any variety of reasons.
