I enjoyed living in the UK while I was a teen.
I did not enjoy the food.
Although tbh, I don't like any European food beside Italian and Greek really

Heres the thing. British food is actually very good, it's just that it is not consistently done well in basic, no frills restaurants, like it is here. British Chefs are some of the best in the world. And some of the best Indian food....is in the UK.

When I was in London, I was young and dumb. I went to American style places &The UK cannot cook American food...but that’s my own fault. I should’ve tried native foods. I wish I had someone who was from there to guide me on what to try...but like I said, I was young and dumb.

The sandwich, beef Wellington, Cheddar/Cheshire/Stilton cheese, Marmite, fish and chips, crumpets, scones, pikelets, smoked eel, mashed potatoes, smoked pickerel/herring, the breafast sausage, toad in the hole, Lancashire pudding, heavy beer, Branston pickle, it’s endless.

I LOVE Indian food! However, to be fair the British DO have Shepard's Pie and bangers which are thankfully NOT boiled!
