I know this is a relatively new term but if we’re really going to keep it, the nature of boycotting a company is to “cancel them” on your own terms. Ceasing your consumption of something definitely seems to go under the umbrella of cancel culture, but that’s just me.

Boycotting bc a company would rather make their product available to more ppl than fight over who they donate to is akin to cancel culture. Boycott them if you want to. But it makes you no better than the left. "Oh I don't like what they did there. Let's make them lose money!"

And if you really think they're not going to find a way to donate to who they want w/o it being public, you're not very bright.
