20% seems a fair way to represent 2% of the population

Why? They're only about 3% of the population. An annoying 3%, lately.

And here I was going to ask if they were even 1/5 the population. Thank you for the stat.

What these people fail to realise is you cannot force tolerance, only the illusion of it

There will alot more tv shows that I won’t watch. The gag factor is almost more than I can stand now.

I’m confused. Isn’t it only somewhere around 3-5% of the population that’s gay? Why the disproportion? Unless it’s more about an agenda and not really about true representation.

The more a crazy person is catered to, the more demands they will make. They feel out of control and this is another way of asking for some constraints because they can't constrain themselves. Acting mental ill is a fad that I will b happy to see go!

Together less than 1-3% of the population yet 20% of the tv. Yeah. Right...

Except 20% of the populations isn't LGBT. It's about 3-4%. So, if we're doing affirmative-action bean-counting so network television accurately represents the American population, the number of gay characters we see on TV is already drastically exaggerated.

Waaaaaayyyyy exaggerated
