Takes 2 minutes to dump some gas in the tank. Takes a good hour to juice a Tesla as much. Using electric cars to chase criminals is like shooting blanks at criminals. Hard pass.

I wouldn't drive an overpriced RC car, but it is correct in that ANY vehicle could have run out of fuel, be it electric or gas. However, any intelligent officer would have made sure to fix that problem, either by filling up the tank OR getting a different vehicle at shift start.
