I've worked from home for 10 years and it's allowed me to see my kids much more than I saw my parents growing up (especially during the summer). Even if it's just for 15-20 minutes during lunch, it has been incredibly rewarding.

As a programmer, I worked from home the last 10 years of my career with occasional trips to client sites. Liked it, but I tended to work far more because I was always in the "office." Also, I felt I had to do more to prove to people I was really working.

I am definitely not cut out for corporate America anymore. Plus I get to be here for my daughter. Win win.

I work from home - homeschooling my 3 kiddos! Thankful for the freedom to do this. Even without a paycheck
