Suborbital ballistic missiles with tungsten-rod mass weapons directed at solid targets floating on the ocean should produce enough of a heat blast to dissipate or weaken storms without radiation. Nobody knows the long term impact on the atmosphere. Extremely expensive too.

Microwaves use microwave light waves to heat water molecules in things. I wonder if it would work? It would heat up the hurricane water. Haha! Nice hot showers for those in its path.

Hurricanes feed on heat. If you were to add heat to a hurricane, you just make it stronger! Not fun!

Interesting idea Jack! Now what happens to the massive latent heat flux and the planetary sized angular momentum within the hurricane, after a superheated column of air rises up at the point of lowest pressure? It will go from Cat 4 to Cat - off the scale - surges, tornados..

Cool! Let’s try it

Not advocating for this BUT during the 1940’s, 50’s & 60’s scores of nuclear devices were exploded without ending the world. (Not a good idea now). But if it would work the risk vs reward might be considered. Planet uses hurricanes to throw off heat. NECESSARY event????
