Blind item...I know of an individual who has a big Instagram account based on travel and this person is in over half million in debt and owes the IRS money all because of living a fake life on Instagram LOL

Live your life. That extra couple hundred in the bank won’t make up for the memories of a good vacation.

Invest well early and then go on vacation with your investment profits that’s the way to do it

You can either have money or look like you have money. Doing both is rarely achieved.

Especially in the short term. Growing up the best advice I didn’t understand until later in life. I thought my friends were rich. My dad said “No son, they aren’t rich they’re in debt.” I was 25 when I understood what he meant.

Reading half the replies to this post, I now realize this country is lost and how we got there.

I think there's a reason why I don't take vacations, but I do keep buying investments with a ~20% composite dividend yield and I always reinvest the dividends. It'll help cover the multi-year vacation I intend to take at the end of my life.

You can easily invest the money and lose hard. There are tons of scams out there on top of that legislation makes it almost impossible for somebody to start out new. A new business should not have to pay taxes for the first year until they're actually a successful business
