I don't want to punish probably and most likely innocent Chinese students that may very well be against the situation in Hong Kong!

These students are usually pawns/ agents for the Chinese gov't anyway (Chinese clubs on college campuses) if not outright spies in some cases. Brainwashed or not they still are forced and the result is the same. They must do their gov't bidding or else.

1. Explain why Hong Kong is our problem 2. I'd raise my hand to stop our government from interfering in China's affairs 3. Don't come around whining when China retaliates 4. This is how foreign intervention looks like:https://twitter.com/dcexaminer/status/1161305213841682439?s=20 …

You have to remember that China has a murderous past. In Mao’s China they would starve their girls, and trade the bodies to the neighbors so that they had something to eat. What China does to it’s people is criminal, by US or Hong Kong standards.

There are 70,000 Americans currently living in China. I’m grateful most Chinese citizens are able to differentiate between innocent American people in China and the actions of our government. Why can’t you do the same?

This just punishes a bunch of largely innocent students for something they have no control over. Also, it hurts academic output at American universities. What an absolutely daft and ridiculous thing to suggest.
-
Nope. The Chinese clubs on college campuses these Chinese students belong to are Chinese gov't financed. The students watch us & their gov't watches them. They are willing & maybe unwilling pawns/ spies. Plenty of YT vids about this.

Absolutely not. That does not punish the government, and more importantly a very large number of Christian Chinese use school here as a way to begin their journey to practice religion more freely. That’s a terrible idea.

Sorry I don't agree with that. The Chinese students shouldn't be used as pawns.

I’m know fan of the Chinese Government but isn’t Hong Kong part of China. They have every right to put their troops where ever they want too

They’re autonomous at the moment and the near future
