They don't want to know what's on that phone, it will destroy their narrative even further. Just like they "lost" the texts on Strzok and Page's phones.

My daughter's phone was "locked" when it was stolen and the thief had the phone unlocked and sold within a couple of hours. Don't tell me the FBI can't unlock a phone. It defies logic and this is supposed to be the premier investigative bureau in the world?
