Ever since the government started insuring these Student Loans tuition has gone through the roof. Privatize the loans and make them harder to get and Institutions will have to lower tuition to stay in business.

I think something can be done for the future sure but forgiving debt people took on is insane. Students can get a decent education at state school without assuming crippling debt.

Elephant in the room is why are so many enrolling in college to begin with? Back in the day, ppl could get good paying jobs that didn't require degrees. That changed to where even simple jobs require them ("any"
). Ppl weren't left much choice to survive...

Hell no. There is absolutely no reason that one American should be held responsible for the VOLUNTARY DEBT of another citizen (& non-citizens if the left has their way). Education is not something the constitution gives control to the federal govt anyway. ZERO compromise

Make student loans uncollectable. People who want to preserve their credit ratings would still pay them off, but those who can’t would not be slapped with fees and ever-accruing interest and hounded to the grave by collection agents, the Dept of Ed, the IRS, etc.
