This ones iffy. I wanna say it's a hard no, but I thought that if you heard a crime or seen a crime inside of a home you could legally enter said home to stop that crime, and it does say they have the guy on tape confirming he has drugs in his house. I could be wrong here though

But that raises the question of, can an arbitrary statement heard over the phone be considered 'hearing a crime'
