As soon as everyone was talking about a $15 min wage at fast food restaurants, you saw electronic order kiosks pop up in McDonalds. They saw the trend and were prepared. Amazon doing the same. Artificially increasing the cost of labor beyond its value causes unemployment.

The minimum wage should be non-existent. People can be paid based on their experience, skill, and value they bring to the table. Progressives refuse to understand the basic economic principle that forcing individuals and businesses to pay more reduces demand and hurts workers.

Amazon treats their human workers like robots already, so replacing them with the metal version is not a big deal to Amazon.
