"Pre-Social Justice". Lee didn't march for women's rights. He fought his own government and countrymen in a bloody civil war for slavery. Bin Laden and Al Queada also "Fought Well". It ain't a badge of courage. Go away.

That doesn't negate Jack's point at all. A person can fight for the wrong thing and still be a good general.

Trump could cure cancer and they would still find some how to make it a bad thing.

No matter what side he fought on he fought well huh? Funny that no one clamors for a Benedict Arnold statue, but ya'll will support racism and even murder for protecting a Robert E Lee statue. Wonder what the difference between those two men are from the perspective of Americans

So basically your view is that anyone who protests the removal of the statue is a white supremacist? If you'd led with that instead of obfuscating it with the tiki torches and slogans that were not the only elements there it'd have been more productive.

I'm opposed too but I'll not have an imaginary definition of racism imposed upon me by someone such as yourself. Your definitions and rigidity and not an all encompassing truth written in the stars.

That'd work if most of those statues had come in the time of reunification, instead they came during the Jim Crow laws era, as well as the civil rights movement, in times when black people were fighting for rights, that's when those people built those statues suddenly decided it
