When I first read Game of Thrones it was pre-internet, or it was in its infancy in 1999. Either way the experience today, as I type on this subreddit, have another tab open for a Wiki of Ice and Fire and read books on my phone waiting in line at Shake Shack

All in all, it was an amazing read, and one that I continue to enjoy as recently as last week (I always re-read the series) One thing I took from the books now that I am a father is how awful it is when things happen to innocent children

As a 13 year old it was bad too, but not "difficult" to read. Now the story of poor Weasel always sticks with me. How she clings to Arya sometimes and then runs off into the woods. I truly hope she wasn't captured and is safe back at the Inn, but one never knows
