The Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament is a prefigurement of Mary who is the true vessel that carried God. She is entitled to the same veneration as the holy of holies of old. If you ask your grandma for prayers, you can ask Mary all the more.

Explain the “Rosary” then....Holy Mary, Mother of God. She is not diety (HOLY) and she most certainly IS NOT the Mother of GOD
-
In the rosary we contemplate the life of Jesus and you are right shes not a Diety but she is Holy because Gabriel greeted her as Gratia Plena or Full of Grace and Elizabeth greeted her as the mother of my lord

You also pray to dead people even though the Bible says not to talk to the dead. You also call your priest Father even though the Bible say to call no one on this earth Father! You absolutely worship Mary you just don’t want to admit it, I was once Catholic till I woke up!

"He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive." Luke 20:38 "Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die;" John 11:25

We ask Mary, the Saints, and dead uncle Jimmy to pray for us. Kinda like you would ask living people for prayers.l

Christians shouldn’t fight each other. I do wonder why Catholics pray to Mary though? Many ask her to intervene on their behalf. The rosaries seem designed for this purpose. But there is only one Mediator. Sincere question, and definitely not a reason for Christians to fight.

It's like if as a kid you have a strict dad and so you ask your mom to ask your dad for something you really want because it helps to have someone on your side helping you out.
