I believe he is refering to George Lemaitre a Roman Catholic priest, mathematician and astronomer who persuaded Albert Einstein that his theory of General Relatvity lead to the conclusion the universe was expanding.

As a protestant I have no problem with Catholics I'm friends with several and related to a couple, but your comment about our beliefs shows that you are theologically ignorant. You're grouping all of us in one category which is no better than what they are doing to you.

He's not said anything to convince us anyway. The Greeks and Romans made some pretty significant discoveries/had some pretty significant achievements too. Doesn't constitute a case to worship Zeus or Jupiter. If anything, it's all evidence of human exceptionalism & the imago dei.
