I'm torn. On one hand I want to know everything he has, and how it obtained it. On the other hand our classified data needs to kept classified, and immunity deal will make it easier for others to recklessly leak data. I can't wrap my head around this one

If there weren't leaks pouring out daily from our own elected officials, I would agree with your 2nd part. Since there are, I think a deal should be worked out. In a sense, the guy has been in jail for years already.

I answered NO. Because I comprehend you can't allow a 3rd party to dictate your Nation's Classified Intelligence. As someone with a background in the IC I find your position rather curious.

I'm with you. No one elected Assange to be the arbiter of classified information. I have a love/hate relationship with Wikileaks but I put American interests above all else.

They find out what he knows and what he has. He might be so out of the loop now, completely paranoid they can’t get anything from him. Did anyone die as a result of released documentation? I don’t know. Did it reveal the US government does illegal shit? Absolutely.
