I went to AU 15 years ago. I started out a liberal and became conservative as I saw the hypocrisy and blatant bias taught by liberal professors. But at least they were open to thoughtful discussion. So much has changed.

Any idea whether the term usage was intentionally racist, or if it was used in the context of 'freedom of speech means speech you don't like' ? Important differentiation, yes?

University should be a “speech haven” where adolescents can discuss various issues openly without fear of backlash as that’s the place where they learnt how to communicate effectively. Suppression of speech is not tolerance in fact they incite more hate than deter it.
