I wonder if circumcision is correlated with violence on a society wide scale.... does infant trauma predispose someone to more violent actions, maybe a predisposition to lacking empathy?

What an ignorant, sexist statement. Utter misandry. The grand majority of males in the world are intact, healthy, and happy. And there's nothing clean about an open wound in a feces- and urine-filled diaper. The foreskin keeps out contaminants and has immunological functions!

The map is outdated — the infant circumcision rate in Australia is now about 5%. They’ve abandoned the practice, as have NZ, UK & now S Korea. Canada is down to 20%. The only Christians that cut sons besides USA are in the Philippines (at 10) and Copts (culturally, not doctrine).

Australia is still at 16.1% prevalence 0-14 years old, and 58% 15+. NZ is at 10 and 33%. UK is at 3 and 8.5%. SKorea is at 22.2 and 81.6%, with no indication of it being abandoned. Circumcision was never a blood sacrifice. You’re making that up.
