As a consultant who works remotely, I find it more comfortable to wear casual clothes while working (e.g., shorts, t-shirt and ball cap) -unless- I am with a client, and then it's suit and power tie all day!
I was in my mid-40s when my oldest started K about 10 yrs ago. I can honestly say, the change that shocked me the most from when I went to school, was the way the teachers dressed. At least I'm "woke" in one area, lol!
I’ve been thinking about it. Dressing more professionally. I wear sweats and a hoodie 99% of the time. I have ~35 hoodies I’d guess. Inevitably I’ll have to dress appropriately after 1 more year of grad school, but I’m in network security, so...Can’t run to the gym in a suit :(
I live in jeans and white, gauzy tops in summer, cute long sleeved waffle weave tops in winter. I can no longer show my legs or arms in public because I wore sunny-type clothes to garden in, for about fifty-five years.
