Democrats say declaring a national emergency is "lawless." But for an act to be lawless, one actually has to act outside the law. On the contrary, the president is using clear statutory authority delegated to him by Congress. pic.twitter.com/o4HO3InV75

No, that’s not how it works. Congress holds fiduciary control over government spend. They denied him funds, and he cannot manufacture an emergency to get them from somewhere else (where they’re already spent, by the way.)

And those Republicans who failed to unify support today for the President’s measure to secure US borders citing concerns for precedent and procedures should realize they cast their votes for progressive Justice Democrats and We the American people will vote you OUT.pic.twitter.com/v8b3bND6pz

Only IF it were an actual “emergency”, not just an ongoing “crisis” or other awful continuing situation, but something urgent and unexpected that justifies circumventing what Congress has decided multiple times now, including when GOP held the house. Why is that so difficult?

It doesn't matter what Cotton says this is all about McConnell carrying the ball for Tom Donahue. As described elsewhere 2/3 of McConnell's "decepticons" voted for open borders. Wall Street I not happy with Trump and the trillions of dollars lobbyists are passing to them shows.

The Rinos are corrupt as hell and I wouldn't put it past McConnell and Donahue to go after Trump if he keeps rocking the Wall Street corruption. 118,000,000 trillion dollars spent lobbying this crap --- and Trump is fighting "the swamp" almost single handedly.
