I just use credit cards with rewards to save a couple of % on my purchases.

The idea of paying interest bothers me, so I don't carry a balance on cards. Getting the card's free rewards pleases me.

I’ve been in credit card debt before. I’ll never go back. That said I still use them I put my rent and other expensive bills on them then pay it right off and build points or miles. It takes discipline.

That doesn’t work on me. CCs are payed off at the end of the month. And I never think about her words when I’m shopping or going out to eat. It’s always a surprise when I shop on Amazon!
