My wife and I get an extra $50-$100 a month in cash by maximizing cash back using cards for different spend categories. This is a dumb comment. I think telling people not to spend more than they make would be more accurate.

I only use
@Discover for personal & business. CASH BACK. Up to 5%. My bookstore rent is $1400 a month. It adds up. -
That Cashback sure does add up fast and that's awesome you're enjoying your Discover Card!

In my youth, I would agree with you. But at this point in my life, I have the funds to pay off my credit card every month. I usually get enough miles to fly 3 to 5 locations per year for free. I’m not rich, but I’ll take free airfare if they’re giving it away

But if you use it tactically for business expenses it's an added bonus. My Dad hasn't paid for a flight or hotel room in 20 years because of United miles and Marriott points.

True - however, I’m debt free and have used credit card points to pay for almost every flight I’ve ever taken.

I rethink that Jack, paying balances off and gathering points. It's good business. Also having a business bank card can't be used in bankruptcy a "Company" card can't.

I never met a poor person who didn’t want one to “build their credit”
