It used to be true that Catholics made up the lion’s share of people celebrating Ash Wednesday But today, most “liturgical churches” — those with a regular, calendar-based liturgy, or set of rituals and observances — mark the day Some evangelicals are now too

Yep, I have several Evangelical friends who practice this discipline of lent. Last year one of them successful quit smoking after a year of trying to stop/slow down. Lent is a time of prayer and sacrifice.

Yeah man, many of us celebrate it. We even eat fish with the KC’s on Friday. Lent is an important time of reflection for all Christians

Elohim: The word is identical to the usual plural of el, meaning gods And then the God's said let us make man in our image in our likeness. Elohim that's always been plural in Hebrew it's not up for debate. So who decided to change the meaning when the Bible was written?

There is something called the Jesus Fast that Evangelical Christians have started taking part in. Starts Mar. 1 and last 40 days.
