I don’t have empirical evidence to prove.... but it just seems very coincidental that numerous times things that never are searched end up in one of my feeds....

what did you do say it out loud? It's in the google chrome terms of service (and probably others) that it will listen to you and use that information to market to you. There's a way to turn that function off. But it's pretty terrible.

Yup, been happening for a while now. Was in my boat fishing talking to my friend about a part I needed to buy for my truck. Next day Amazon showed me suggestions for that part. Never searched for it.
Comcast started noticeably doing this a couple years back also. TV ads started popping up about my friends conversations in the same rooms as my smart TVs. Then all of my computers would have ads on google etc about the conversations.
