I don’t think any of those are CNN people. I could be wrong. But yes, those word fillers should NOT be included. It’s standard practice when quoting anyone really.

Trump certainly says them a lot, perhaps even more then most speakers, Pregnant pauses etc, as long as people keep that standard regardless of party would seem fair
