Total carbs period. Watch what you eat. Low carbs and exercise is very key. Throw in some fiber. Be careful with fiber though it has lots of carbs too. Drink lots of water. Sodas are bad because even diet drinks add weight.

Amazing that diabetes nurses teach patients to eat sugar when they take too much insulin. Insulin is what your body employs to makes excess blood glucose into fat. Giving too much insulin, not changing diet is horrible! Sugar, high fructose corn syrup cause this! Go keto!
