No Fn way. Apple added 2 extra digits to make it even more secure and I respected their principal and their story about no back end access but now I’m thinking Samsung or Motorola might be a better choice.

Since when do they have iCloud credentials in plain text? I'm sorry but that STINKS. Their account, if their security model previously was to be believed, was that Apple didn't have the passwords and therefore couldn't decrypt. Did San Bernardino not use iCloud backup?

This is fake news. There's no comparison between Apple giving over iCloud data and unlocking someone's iPhone. Apple knows your iCloud password and has all its data. They don't know your iPhone password. Only way in is to break the lock. And it's the same lock for every iPhone.
