I felt he handled himself in a calm and mature manner. He explained that they were instructed to meet and wait at that location for their school bus to pick them up. It appeared to me the other individuals walked over and intermingled with the students.

How would you react if you were peacefully standing there and some old dude WALKS UP TO YOU and incessantly beats a drum in your face? The kid smiled, & respectfully stood his ground. Look at that video, the old dude & his crew knew exactly what they were doing.

Depends who confronted who? Did he initiate contact with the drummer or vice versa. If the drummer initiated the contact then the young man did just fine.

I don’t know how to copy it but someone posted a video of the kids grouped together and the drummer (with cameras) walking up to the group on

Basically, that's ALL they were doing. Now people are poring over their yearbooks, making their names known and the cops have to stand guard at their homes. The one word kids have to keep unwanted adults out of their space is "NO," and that Elder did not seem to want to hear it

This old man was obviously in the wrong. I'm sure teen's teachers will say he should have stepped back a few paces. But I think he should actually be commended for calmly refusing to be intimidated.
