If I had to choose: dismantle them, melt them down, re-purpose the metal for something GOOD, some people believe bad things can stick to things from really bad events, so make statue(s) w/ the metal for any1 lost via plackards. Non-metal parts: light casings for the statue(s).

There for the weapons can't pass on to another possible BAD person, OR go into a collection to be a SHOW piece & give the unstable people IDEAS because mental illness is not taken care of properly anymore, so celebrate the lives of the 1s lost, & give no mention of the shooter.
