I worked with a nutritionist on my diet a few years ago. She would keep harping on all the sugars and artificial flavors in low-fat yogurt. Full fat yogurt with a touch of vanilla is so much more satisfying.

Best yet is full fat *plain* Greek yogurt over fresh fruit, the tastiest being cut up strawberries, green grapes and blueberries. Drizzle on a little honey if you must, but it really doesn't need it. I like to sprinkle on a little wheat germ too sometimes. So good.

Best advice I ever heard was only 10% of your calories should come from simple sugars. Try it and see how hard it is, even if you don’t count fresh fruit.

I have a “drawer of shame” at work where I keep emergency sugars.
