I’ve seen both my in-laws struggle with this. Instead of cutting these foods out they just keep upping their insulin. Really sad.

dairy milk as well actually. there's actually a lot of sugar in dairy. there's more sugar in dairy milk than in sweetened, chocolate plant milk. a doc called "raw for 30 days" showed a woman who was able to get off insulin in 30 DAYS by consuming a raw, vegan, healthy diet.

I am not diabetic, but I severely reduced my carb intake which I believe has reduced the # of migraines I have.

Why is it that the first thing doctors do when you’re diagnosed as diabetic is to put you on a low carb diet? They know the truth, they just don’t acknowledge it until they’re forced to.

My daughter is type 1 . Her dietician told her to use Splenda .. nope won't be doing that . Don't feel like giving my daughter cancer .
