What angers me about these articles is the writer is to lazy they never tell us was actually charged, it says $175,000 then says they were told $85,000 for renting the ballroom was fair market value but then the article states they don’t know what the final negotiated price was.

Why publish an article with nothing but a few emails but no final negotiated price, so essentially it’s just published with no facts other than a few emails going back and forth negotiating, essentially trying to figure out the fair market value but of course everything is bad.

Why do they even report this when they don’t even know if they were overacharged at all. All they have is an email saying we are being over charged. They have no idea if this was just a mistake that was rectified. But people when now run with it as fact.
