You have completely misunderstood Sen. Howard's quote. When he said "foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers" he meant literally just that. The 14th would apply to everyone except the families of diplomats.

There's no "or" in that clause. If you continue reading through that record, it's obvious every senator present understood the amendment would apply to foreigners who did NOT belong to the "families of ambassadors or foreign ministers".

If they all agreed on that meaning why wasn't it spelled out in the text of the amendment itself. It seems to me this one congressman wanted that but for some reason or another the rest of them didn't, otherwise the amendment would have specified, but it doesn't.

It does specify, and does so deliberately. "...and subject to the jurisdiction thereof..." Non citizens are subject to their country of citizenship.

Like who the fuck are you anyways? You gotta check by your name, are you supposed to be somebody? Never even heard of you. You're just a dumb ignorant ass. Keep making a fool of yourself. And again where did your family come from? A foreign country perhaps???

How many dipshits actually read the quote? Posobiec didn't.

I like that with the 14th amendment they want to get all, "look at what it actually says," but if it's the 2nd amendment it's all about interpretation

Link and proper citation please so others can find it.

I do know that the Amendment itself says "Subject to the jurisdiction of the USA". Illegals are subject to the jurisdiction of the country they came from, so any children they have here are NOT USA citizens. It's clear.
