I seem to remember a newspaper interview which said she was touted as the "first woman of color" at law school and also that she was hired by a firm that reported her as a Native American. Someone surely remembers this too?

It seems her heritage, of being white, did in fact play role in her getting hired. Her false Indian claims allowed her to defraud institutions financially by claiming minority status. She needs to pat them back, AND apologize.
