HUGE: Clapper just made a massive change to his story. He is now walking back his claim that "Russia" gave the DNC emails to Wikileaks, but they gave them to a "third-party cutout" who in turn delivered them to Julian Assangehttps://www.yahoo.com/news/clapper-suspect-kremlin-wikileaks-transfer-124145177.html?soc_trk=gcm&soc_src=5e53fef9-5fa4-39a8-abc4-01c97ce294c4&.tsrc=notification-brknews …

In addition to making a number of factual errors about the number of emails and documents Wikileaks received, Clapper claims that he has a suspect in who that "cutout" might be

The report, written by extreme Trump critic Michael Isikoff, acknowledges there is no evidence that Russia hacked the DNC, and are now discussing a single individual who delivered the emails to Wikileaks

...Clapper added: “In April, Russia used a third party ‘cut-out’ to send more than 19,000 DNC emails and more than 8,000 documents to WikiLeaks and Julian Assange, attempting to cover its tracks and to give WikiLeaks some degree of deniability in knowing the source of the leaks.”

Seth Rich? Clapper may be trying to make him a middle man between Russia and WikiLeaks.

This is another issue with Crowdstrike. It was stated in their report that they observed the "hackers'" preparations for exfiltrating documents. Did they just watch the one person do it, or does their software operate as advertised? Nothing but questions.
